About me

What’s important to me as a psychotherapist?

Helping people get better and bolder at communicating with the important people in their lives

Honesty and clarity – direct communication between me and my clients

Helping people to like themselves more

Helping people face their fears

Helping people to live more in the here and now, not the past or the future or the ‘what if’

Helping people free themselves from stuck attitudes and/or situations

Helping people to answer big questions eg. Why am I the way I am? Why can’t I stop worrying?

Helping people get comfortable with feelings they find difficult eg anger, sadness, fear

‘Going to therapy wasn’t my idea but my family’s. I have never been interested in counselling or thought it could be helpful for me, but I’ve been really surprised by how much it’s changed the way I deal with every day things – I’ve realised that keeping a lid on anything difficult wasn’t such a great strategy. I am so much more relaxed now, happy even’
